The 1953 125 TEL was a final version of the 125 “C” that was first produced in 1949. The single-cilinder, 2-stoke engine generated 5,5 HP, and the top speed was 85 Kph. The frame was constructed of a mix of a tubular front and pressed steel rear components. The primary characteristics of the newe version were the modifed suspension, which included a mechanical telescopic front fork, an d a rear hydraulic schock absprbers working with a swingarm. This improvement gave the sporty 125 TEL a more comfortable ride, and improved control, at all speeds. This model was the backbone of MV Agusat production; from 1949 to 1953, 40.000 examples were built.
