Freshing an established design – it’s a concept that has been used for decaders. MV tapped the styling firm of Giugiaro to visually update the popular 350 Twin. With 40 HP on tap, and a chassis that encouraged spirited riding, the “ bones “ of the bike were user friendly. But MV wanted to push the styling envelop, and Giugiaro did just that, with horizontal fins on the side cover and engine echoing the cilinder cooling fins. Within the restyled case were the same components as the prior 350, which was not a bad thing. But MV was fighting financial woes, and the firm closed its doors in 1977, the 350 Ipotesi GT slipped into history.
